The Challenge

To-Increase, a global SaaS leader in ISV for Microsoft Dynamics 365 business applications, faced a significant employment challenge. Following its acquisition by Gilde Buy Out Partners, To-Increase had to take back more than 60 employees from their parent company, Columbus, within a short deadline of April 1st. The employees had been employed on Columbus’s payroll, and To-Increase had to engage them on an identical benefits package.

To-Increase had to overcome several challenges in this situation. They had to engage over 60 employees on a flexible benefits package that met their individual requirements within a short deadline. Additionally, they had to deal with employee concerns and doubts, as well as manage the growth of their workforce in India.

Our Solution

To overcome these challenges, To-Increase turned to Leap29, a trusted partner that had been recommended by a former customer. With little time to spare, Leap29’s Expansion team reviewed the existing employment contracts and employee profiles and began the process of onboarding the employees into the new business.

The team produced bespoke “Appointment Letters” and put together a benefits package that included health insurance, accident insurance, and life insurance.

In addition, Leap29 leased office space in Hyderabad, implemented a bespoke HR system, and procured and delivered tech equipment for all employees. These efforts helped to ensure that the employees were engaged on a flexible benefits package that met their individual requirements and addressed their concerns and doubts.

Thanks to Leap29’s expertise, To-Increase successfully onboarded more than 60 employees from Columbus within the short deadline and increased its headcount in India by over 50% over the next 12 months.
